About This Map
This goal of this map is to be a comprehensive map of winter backcountry access points in the Cascades. It brings together Sno-Parks, DOT pullouts, trailheads, gated roads, ski areas, and private land issues. It is intended to be a launching point for planning your next winter backcountry adventure.

In some regions, we omitted access points that cater to motorized user, provide minimal value to backcountry users, or are typically below snow line.

Sno-Park Passes
Sno-Park passes, both day and annual (non-motorized), can be bought online or at various vendors. A few specific Sno-Parks require the additional Special Groomed Trails Sticker, and we denoted these with a special icon.
