CBA Winter Access Map

About This Map

This goal of this map is to be a comprehensive map of winter backcountry access points in the Cascades. It brings together Sno-Parks, DOT pullouts, trailheads, gated roads, ski areas, and private land issues. It is intended to be a launching point for planning your next winter backcountry adventure.

Features of this winter access map:

  • Access points categorized by icon and color

  • Further details and considerations explained for each access point

  • Parking pass requirements included

In some regions, we omitted access points that cater to motorized user, provide minimal value to backcountry users, or are typically below snow line.

Notice any errors or missing access points? Please let us know.

Sno-Park Passes

Sno-Park passes, both day and annual (non-motorized), can be bought online or at various vendors. A few specific Sno-Parks require the additional Special Groomed Trails Sticker, and we denoted these with a special icon.
